Worship Jesus

Revelation 5:13

Introduction:

• Worship is never an accident in Scripture; it is always a response. And in Revelation 5:13, we are given one of the most breathtaking scenes of worship in the entire Bible. John pulls back the curtain of heaven, and suddenly we see the entire created order; every creature in heaven, on earth, under earth, and in the sea lifting one unified voice of praise. Their worship is directed to “Blessing and honor and glory and power belongs to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.”
• This moment is staggering because it shows us something essential about Jesus: He is not merely a teacher, a prophet, or a moral example. He is the Lamb who was slain, the One worthy of praise. Heaven recognizes His worth, and creation cannot help but respond.
• Revelation 5:13 reminds us that worship is not just a church activity; it is the destiny of the universe. Everything God has made finds its true purpose when it acknowledges the supremacy of Jesus. Creation will one day bow before Him, then worship becomes not only our duty but our joy, our privilege, and our eternal calling.
