Give God Your Worry – Receive Peace

Give God Your Worry-Receive Peace
Isaiah 9:6-7
Introduction:
• We live in a world that thrives on anxiety. From the moment we wake up, we are bombarded with headlines, deadlines, and personal struggles that whisper, “You are not enough. You are not safe. You are not in control.” Worry has become a constant companion, one we never invited, yet rarely dismissed.
• But what if peace is not found in solving every problem, but in surrendering them?
• Jesus offers a radical invitation. “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are wary and carry burdens, and I will give you rest.”” This is not a suggestion; it is a promise. When we give God our worry, we are not just unloading our burdens; we are making room for His peace to take residence in our hearts.
• Today, we are going to explore how worry distorts our view of God, how peace is more than a feeling, it is a fruit of trust and how surrendering our anxiety is the first step toward living in the freedom Christ died to give us.
• So, let us lean in. Let us be honest about the weight we carry. And let us discover the peace that comes when we place our worries in the hands of the One who holds the world.
