Introduction:
- Galatians 6:11-18
- Have you ever noticed how people sign off letters with a flourish, a final thought, a signature that says, “This is Me?” In Galatians 6:11-18, Paul picks up the pen himself. After dictating most of the letters, he writes in large letters not because he is showing off, but because he is bearing his soul. These are not just closing remarks. They are a final plea, a passionate summary, a personal testimony.
- Paul is not interested in religious performance or outward appearances. He is not impressed by circumcision or ceremonial pride. He is pointing us to something deeper: the cross of Christ. That is the only boast worth making. And then he says something startling he bears on his body the marks of Jesus. Not metaphorical marks. Real scars. Real suffering. Real Devotion
- Today, we are going to explore what it means to live marked by grace, not by guilt. To boast in the cross, not in our credentials. To walk in peace and mercy, not performance and pressure. Paul’s final words are a call to authenticity, to transformation, and to a life shaped by the crucified and risen Christ.
