Colossians 3:12-14

● Love and Unity go “hand-in-hand” without Love there is no unity.
● Paul listed 8 important qualities that should be on display in the lives of
those who are followers of Jesus Christ, and so far we’ve looked at Love,
Compassion, Kindness, Humility, Gentleness and Patience.
● It all begins with Love which is the perfect bond of unity. We identified Love
with the expression: Give of Yourself like Jesus Gives. Application: Be like
Christ.
● The Second Quality is Compassion. We saw that Compassion requires us
to feel like Jesus feels. The Application: We need to be Sensitive.
● The Third Quality is Kindness. Treat others like Jesus treats us. The
Application: Be Nice
● The Fourth Quality is Humility. We need to See Ourselves and Others as
God Sees Us. The Application: Be Humble.
● The Fifth Quality is Gentleness. The Idea for the Word is Strength Under
Control. The Application: Be Trainable.
● The Sixth Quality is Patience. The idea is the Act like Christ and the
Application is to be Patient.
